Justin Taylor Murphy, 8, of Oriole died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, at St. Louis Children's Hospital. He was born Nov. 17, 2005, in Cape Girardeau, to Regina Ann Mize and James Murphy. Justin attended Nell Holcomb Elementary School. He is survived by his father, James Murphy of Perryville, Missouri; two brothers, Austin Murphy of Perryville, Drew Murphy of Anna, Illinois; maternal grandmother, Marie Mize of Oriole; maternal grandfather, Micheal Mize of Old Appleton; paternal grandmother, Mary Murphy-Kerr of Olive Branch, Illinois; maternal great-grandmother, Ethel Mize of Jackson; his mother's fiance, Gary Kelley, and his children, Nathan and Victoria Kelley, all of Oriole; numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.. ...

His mother, Regina Ann Mize, died the same day. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Monroe and Leola Richardson and Billy Mize.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Crain Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to offset expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
