CHARLESTON -- Jurlene Leda Cecile Burcks, 59, of Charleston died Wednesday, May 19, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Sept. 14, 1939, at Marble Hill, daughter of Woodie and Lucy Bell Estes Brown.
Burcks lived in Charleston most of her life. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include four sons, Richard Burcks of Kuttawa, Ky., Donald Burcks of Cairo, Ill., Glen Burcks of Marble Hill, Mike Burcks of Joplin, Ill.; and a daughter, Regina Riley of Sikeston.
Also surviving are four brothers, Stanley Brown of Bakersfield, Calif., C.D. and Floyd Brown of Charleston, Jerry Brown of Cleveland, Ohio; two sisters, Inavee Spoon of Charleston, Dessie Gross of Anniston; and 13 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Jim Eskew will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Scopus.
