JUNIOR MAYNARD

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Junior Maynard, East Prairie Route 2, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. The Revs. Don Campbell and Michael Maynard will officiate. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Maynard, 61, died Thursday, July 4, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 27, 1934, in Paris, Tenn., son of David and Zella DeHart Maynard.

Survivors include six daughters, Kathy Jones of Beckley, W.Va., Glenda Campbell of New Madrid, Shirley Patton of Portageville, Kaye Harvey of Ellsinore, Loretta Hatton of Bertrand, Remonda Groves of Charleston; a brother, James "Cap" Maynard of S. Fulton, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, four brothers and a sister.
