JUNE ELLIS

June Ellis, 63, 717 Albert, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born March 31, 1930, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Arthur and Hattie Harper Vogelsang. She and Harold Ellis were married Nov. 15, 1947, in Cape Girardeau.

Ellis was an office clerk at Anderson Clark 27 years. She was a member of Caney Fork Baptist Church, Gideons, and VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Harold Ellis Jr. of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Ann Ellis of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Brenda Bender of Cape Girardeau, Vicki Hensley of Farmington, Pam Kelly of Springfield; a brother, C.H. Vogelsang of Wentzville; a sister, Doris Mason of Cape Girardeau; four stepbrothers, Benny and Jerry Abbott of Cape Girardeau, Bill Abbott of Perryville, Bob Abbott of Jackson, and 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and grandchild.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Revs. Don Estes and Jim DeSpain will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
