Julius Leonard Kitchen, 71, of Phoenix, Ariz., died Thursday, June 6, 1991, at St. Joseph Hospital there.

He was born June 15, 1919, in Cape Girardeau, son of Noah P. and Bessie Davis Kitchen. He married the former Mary Lou Wills, who died April 9, 1990.

Survivors include two sons, Donnie Wills and Michael Kitchen of Phoenix; a daughter, Sondra Ayers of Phoenix; two brothers, Jack and Gary Kitchen of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Nadine McCully of Cape Girardeau, Marilyn Walker of Glendale, Ariz., and two granddaughters.

Funeral service will be Thursday at Greer Chapel in Phoenix, with burial in Greenwood Memory Lawn there.
