Julia A. Meyer, 61, of Scott City died Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 24, 1953, in Cape Girardeau, to Lloyd and Eva Sparks Martin.
Julia was of the Baptist belief. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting, and loved to do crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her husband, Orville Meyer of Scott City; two daughters, Donna (John) Slaner and Jenny Hawkins of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Arthur, Charles, Johnny (Debbie) and James Martin, all of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Lilly Martin and Jackie (Randy) Fish of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a friend, Harold Pettit of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Misty Pettit Cole; and a great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
