SIKESTON -- Julia Earline Davis, 84, of Moberly, died Monday, June 17, 1991, at Moberly Caring Center. She was born Nov. 2, 1906, near Lilbourn, daughter of Ernest and Lou Ella Boyett Lee. She married Murce Davis Nov. 3, 1962. He died April 4, 1983...

SIKESTON -- Julia Earline Davis, 84, of Moberly, died Monday, June 17, 1991, at Moberly Caring Center.

She was born Nov. 2, 1906, near Lilbourn, daughter of Ernest and Lou Ella Boyett Lee. She married Murce Davis Nov. 3, 1962. He died April 4, 1983.

Davis was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Nina Mangus of Renick; a brother, Elmer Lee of Sikeston; five sisters, Lucille Vaughn of Hot Springs, Ark., Maxine Hicks and Mary Brown of Sikeston, Betty Truelove of Lilbourn, Pauline Singery of Rockford, Ill.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Nathan Greene will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery here.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
