CHARLESTON -- Julia Ann Hartley, 61, of Charleston, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 1991 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born Nov. 11, 1929 in Wyatt to Donald Eugene and Kathleen O'Conner Prayor. She lived in Mississippi County her entire life, and was a member of the Cornerstone General Baptist Church in Bertrand...

CHARLESTON -- Julia Ann Hartley, 61, of Charleston, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 1991 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Nov. 11, 1929 in Wyatt to Donald Eugene and Kathleen O'Conner Prayor.

She lived in Mississippi County her entire life, and was a member of the Cornerstone General Baptist Church in Bertrand.

On July 9, 1957, she married Herbert W. "Bud" Hartley. He died Nov. 30, 1983.

Survivors include: one son, Ronald Dean Brown of Memphis, Tenn.; one daughter, Patty Cossey of Wyatt; three brothers, Billy Prayor of Wyatt, Bobby Joe Prayor of St. Louis, and Bruce Prayor of Plain View, Texas; one sister, Joyce Cossey of Wyatt; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Services are scheduled 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.
