DAISY, Mo. -- Judith "Judy" Ann Lukefahr, 59, of Daisy, formerly of Jackson, Mo., died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, in Jackson.
Friends may call Monday, Jan. 1, between 4-8 p.m. at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, Jan. 2, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by internment in Russell Heights Cemetery. The Revs. James Brice and Virgil Bunch will officiate.
She was born on Oct. 28, 1941, at Perryville, the daughter of the late Chester O. and Mildred Abernathy Lincoln. She and Perry E. Lukefahr were married June 4, 1961. He survives.
Other loving survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Colleen Lukefahr of Jackson and Curtis and Cherie Lukefahr of Daisy; two grandchildren, Lane Thomas Lukefahr and Alexis Grace Lukefahr; a brother, Michael "Mike" Lincoln of Dallas, Texas; and sister, Carol Sue Riehn of Marietta, Ga.
She was a 1959 graduate of Jackson High School. She attended Southwest Missouri Baptist in Bolivar, Mo., for a year and Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau for a year. She later worked at the former Grabars Ladies Clothing store in Cape Girardeau. For the past 20 years, she gave private piano lessons.
For the past 39 years, she was a member of Sedgewickville United Methodist Church, serving as church instrumentalist and music director. She formerly served as the UMW leader and taught Sunday School in the children's division and young married couples.
