SIKESTON -- Judith D. Lankheit, 48, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, July 16, 1996, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Nov. 5, 1947, in Poplar Bluff to the Late J.D. Harper and Marie Bulger Harper, who survives.
She was a 1965 graduate of Sikeston High School and was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Church where she served on the parish council. She was also a member of the Sikeston Junior Women's Club, the Scott County Young Democrats and the J.U. Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood in Sikeston.
Besides her mother, she is survived by two sons, Justin Harper Lankheit and Joseph Jacob Lankheit, both of Sikeston; and two sisters, Jan Barkett and Nancy Nickell, both of Sikeston.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The recitation of the rosary will begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Nunnelee Chapel. The funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Church in Sikeston with Monsignor William Stanton officiating, assisted by Father Robert Schumacher.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
