Judith B. Wessel, 37, of Herndon, Va., passed away Monday, May 14, 2007, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born March 18, 1970, in Dumaguete City, Philippines, daughter of Miguel Laguardia and Consorcia Leyson Belasques Badon. She and Kirk W. Wessel were married Dec. 7, 1991.
Judith was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson and an active volunteer at Rio Rosales Kindergarten in Oxnard, Calif.
Loving survivors include her husband; a son, Kirk W. Wessel II; father and mother-in-law, Leon and Fran Wessel of Marble Hill, Mo.; sister-in-law, Kristi Renaud of Slidell, La.; three brothers and three sisters, all of the Philippines; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Friends may call today from 5 to 8 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
