FARMINGTON -- A memorial service for Judith Ann McDaniel of Jefferson City will be held at 7 p.m. today at Jefferson City High School, with the Rev. Harvel Sanders officiating.
A service will also be held at 7 p.m. Friday at All Saints Episcopal Church in Farmington.
Houser-Millard Funeral Home in Jefferson City is in charge of arrangements.
McDaniel, 50, died Sunday, June 8, 1997, at Ellis Fischel Cancer Treatment Center in Columbia.
She was born Sept. 2, 1946, in Timmins, Ontario, Canada, daughter of Thomas and Margaret Lamothe Morton. She and Frederick O. McDaniel Sr. were married Dec. 18, 1965.
McDaniel grew up in Pembroke, Ontario, Argentina, and Bonne Terre. She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Farmington, and received bachelor and master of science degrees from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau.
She was a biology teacher at Jefferson City High School seven years.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, James McDaniel III of Jefferson City, Frederick McDaniel Jr. of Santa Fe, N.M., Thomas McDaniel of Columbia; a daughter, Nicole McDaniel of Columbia; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, brother, and a grandson.
