ELCO, Ill. -- Judith Sue Coleman, 72, of Elco died Thursday, July 25, 2013, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 10, 1940, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of Miles and Roberta Cantrell Coleman.
Coleman was a member of Elco Methodist Church, where she had been organist and song leader. She was a graduate of Alexander County Central High School and McKendree College where she majored in music.
She is survived by a sister, Salle Ann Townsend of Las Vegas; a nephew, Denis Coleman of Farmington Hills, Mich.; a niece, Sueann Townsend of Amherst, Mass.; and a friend, Diane Blaney of Tamms, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, D.M. and Thomas.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Elco Methodist Church.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Rob Grief officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children or Elco Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the church.
