CHARLESTON - Juanetia H. Estes, 80, formerly of Charleston, died Saturday, May 21, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center, where she had resided the past ten years. She was born July 13, 1913, at Marble Hill, to Robert and Tinie White Rogers. On Oct. 31, 1936, she married John Estes, at Marble Hill. He preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1958...

CHARLESTON - Juanetia H. Estes, 80, formerly of Charleston, died Saturday, May 21, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center, where she had resided the past ten years.

She was born July 13, 1913, at Marble Hill, to Robert and Tinie White Rogers.

On Oct. 31, 1936, she married John Estes, at Marble Hill. He preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1958.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Estes of Humboldt, Tenn; and one daughter, Violet Laster of Sikeston. Four grandchildren and one great grandson also survive.

She was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.

Hope lived in Charleston most of her life. She was a charter member of the Elm Street Baptist Church.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m., today, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Funeral services will be held Monday, at 1 p.m., at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, with the Rev. Carl Cox officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F Cemetery, near Charleston.
