ORAN -- Juanita B. Vogel, 85, of Oran died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born April 13, 1911, at Bell City, daughter of Jefferson Davis and Mary Ollie Harris Riley. She and Francis Vogel were married Jan. 14, 1932. He died Aug. 1, 1975...

ORAN -- Juanita B. Vogel, 85, of Oran died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 13, 1911, at Bell City, daughter of Jefferson Davis and Mary Ollie Harris Riley. She and Francis Vogel were married Jan. 14, 1932. He died Aug. 1, 1975.

The Vogels owned and operated Vogel Bottled Gas and Appliance. She was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church, its St. Ann's Sodality, Knights of Columbus Council 4311 at Oran, and Oran Senior Citizens.

Survivors include a son, Glenn Vogel of Oran; a daughter, Rosemary Bushko of Jefferson City; a brother, Claude Riley of Clinton, S.C.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 4 p.m. Friday. Parish rosary will be at 7, and KC prayer service at 7:30.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Guardian Angel Church, with the Rev. Lewis Hejna officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
