MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Juanita "Jennie" Vance, 84, of Marble Hill died Sunday, April 24, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 3, 1920, in Albuquerque, N.M., daughter of Felipe Martinez and Susanna Lovato Fajardo.

Vance was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold, Mo.

Survivors include four sons, Claude Vance of Marble Hill, Paul Vance of Glenallen, Mo., Lloyd Vance of Fredericktown, Mo., Mark Vance of Radium Springs, N.M.; four daughters, Theresa Walters of Rochester Hills, Mich., Elizabeth Heule of Kansas City, Mo., Susana Choate of Marble Hill, Donna Vance of Vantage, Wash.; 19 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, three sisters and five brothers.

Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of service.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Bill Huggins and Dr. John Englehart officiating. Burial will be in McGee Chapel Cemetery at Glenallen.
