CHARLESTON -- Juanita Virginia Ryal, 81, of Paducah, Ky., died Monday, Nov. 20, 1995, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
She was born Oct. 5, 1914, in Miller City, Ill., daughter of Charles L. and Susan Houston Hanley. She and George H. Ryal were married Nov. 30, 1931. He died Nov. 25, 1986.
Ryal lived in California 12 years, retiring in 1977 as a licensed practical nurse and moving to Paducah. She was a member of 12th Street Baptist Church. Ryal was formerly of Mississippi County.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Ryal of Orlando, Fla., Robert Ryal of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two daughters, Dorothy Tucker of Branson, Sylvia Burns of Kitty Hawk, N.C.; a brother, Bob Hanley of Wickliffe, Ky.; five sisters, Dolly Walker of Vinita Park, Calif., Frances Swank of LaVerne, Calif., Ellen DeJardnett of Cairo, Ill., Lucille Fite of Mound City, Ill., Sylvia Burkstaller of Sarasota, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren, and two great-stepgrandchildren.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 2:30-7 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bruce Treon officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
