TAMMS, Ill. -- Juanita Louise Mowery, 79, of Tamms, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000, at her home.
She was born on April 8, 1921, at Elco, Ill., daughter of James Monroe and Marie Dickerson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Leo Mowery on June 15, 1976.
She was a member of Elco Pentecostal Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Brathoud of Sacramento, Calif., Barbara Sue Ruiz of Las Vegas, Nev., and Terri Mayberry of Dongola, Ill.; five sons, Richard Mowery of New Albany, Ind., Kenneth Mowery of Salines, Calif., Robert Mowery of San Jose, Calif., Lee Mowery and Jerry Mowery, both of Tamms; two brothers, Larry Dickerson of Elco and Lester Dickerson of Lick Creek, Ill.; 26 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms.
