MURPHYSBORO, Ill. -- Juanita Hoffner, 69, of Murphysboro, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1993, at her home. She was born May 17, 1924, in Union County, daughter of John M. and Virgie Poole Rinehart. She married Leo Hoffner, who died Nov. 26, 1988. Hoffner was retired office manager at Cardinal Distributors in Belleville. She was a member of Elm Street Baptist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, Women of the Moose, and VFW Auxiliary...

MURPHYSBORO, Ill. -- Juanita Hoffner, 69, of Murphysboro, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1993, at her home.

She was born May 17, 1924, in Union County, daughter of John M. and Virgie Poole Rinehart. She married Leo Hoffner, who died Nov. 26, 1988.

Hoffner was retired office manager at Cardinal Distributors in Belleville. She was a member of Elm Street Baptist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, Women of the Moose, and VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sisters, Virginia Lilly of Oraville and Clola Brown of Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Chapel in Anna. The Rev. Charles Allen will officiate, with burial in American Legion Cemetery at Dongola.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today, and prior to service Friday.
