JUANITA BROWN

WYATT -- Juanita Howell Brown, 73, of Wyatt died Friday, April 9, 1999, at her home.

She was born Jan. 15, 1926, at Oak Ridge, daughter of Joshua and Anna Jane Thomas Howell. She was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary. Brown had been employed with the Brown Shoe Co. in Charleston.

She married James Elmer Brown Sept. 30, 1961. He died Dec. 1, 1985.

Surviving are a daughter, Judy Williams of Festus; a sister, Geraldine Barclay of Tucson, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Brown was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, with a prayer service at 7.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Charleston, the Rev. Gerald Brown officiating.

Internment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
