ANNA, Ill. -- Juanita Pauline Bittle, 79, of Anna died Tuesday, May 5, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
She was born Sept. 21, 1918, in Jonesboro, daughter of Daniel and Doris Ferrell Frick. She and Howard R. Bittle were married in 1935 in Murphysboro.
Bittle was a member of First Baptist Church and taught Sunday School several years.
Survivors include her husband; six sons, Dean Bittle of Harrisburg, Ronald and Gary Bittle of Anna, Richard Bittle of Marion, Robert Bittle of Bejing, China, and Randy Bittle of Carterville.
Also surviving are three brothers, Kenneth Frick of Jonesboro, Don Frick of Creve Coeur, Bon Frick of Anna; seven sisters, Jean Graham of Anna, Anita Bittle and Sue Choate of Jonesboro, Janice Appel of Peoria, Martha Wiley of East Peoria, Pat Farris of Morton, Marilyn Vancil of Cape Girardeau; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Shacklee officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
