Joshua Keith Holshouser, 32, of Scott City died Monday, Feb. 11, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
He was born Sept. 7, 1975, at Cape Girardeau, son of David Keith and Joy Bowen Holshouser.
He married Donna Mae Ramsey on October 2, 2004, at Cape Girardeau.
He was a painter for Slinkard Painting Co., a member of the Painters District Council No. 2 and Lynwood Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
Josh was more than just a man. He was something special to everyone, whether it be a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend or fishing buddy. He did more for others than for himself and was always willing to help when in need. Josh never complained and was that one person who always looked at the glass half full.
He loved to work. If he could fix something, he was happy.
His optimism filled the hearts of everyone around him. You couldn't have met a happier man. He was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.
He was a man of God and made an impact on so many lives. He walked his faith.
Josh Squash, we love and miss you and will be with you one day.

I don't know how we got along without Josh before we had him. Now, I don't know how we will keep going without him always helping, always smiling and always being kind. He became my Dad. Love, Caitlan.
