Josephine C. Nenninger Fisher, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2005, at Chateau Girardeau. She was born Nov. 11, 1915, in Glennon, Mo., daughter of the late William J. and Bertha Lenderink Nenninger. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels and was affiliated with St. Mary's Cathedral and the church's Quilting Ladies and Altar Society. She married Leonard F. Fisher. He died Dec. 12, 2002...

Josephine C. Nenninger Fisher, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2005, at Chateau Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 11, 1915, in Glennon, Mo., daughter of the late William J. and Bertha Lenderink Nenninger. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels and was affiliated with St. Mary's Cathedral and the church's Quilting Ladies and Altar Society. She married Leonard F. Fisher. He died Dec. 12, 2002.

Survivors include a son, Vincent Fisher of Cobden, Ill.; two daughters, Joan Beck of St. Louis and Donna Bone of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Alma VanGennip of Advance, Mo., Marie Rellergert of Glennon, Mo., and Wilma VanGennip of Leopold, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Sunday with a Mass at St. Mary Cathedral and the Rev. Tom Kiefer officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
