Wunderlich, 77, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born June 16, 1921, in Poplar Bluff. He and Anina June Dohl were married Jan. 9, 1943, in Sioux Falls, S.D. She died June 10, 1992.

Wunderlich served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.

Survivors include two sons, Mike Wunderlich of Cape Girardeau, Mark Wunderlich of Huber Heights, Ohio; a daughter, Jolene McCall of Centralia; a sister, Pat Corzine of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Bill Wunderlich of Littleton, Colo., Ralph Wunderlich of Poplar Bluff; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
