SIKESTON -- Joseph Raymond Leible, 58, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, April 1, 1992, at his home.
He was born Nov. 8, 1933, at Bertrand, son of Benjamin and Lillian Clayton Leible. He and Patricia E. Stoker Friend were married March 26, 1983, at Sikeston.
Leible owned Midway 66 Service Station in Miner until selling it in 1982. He retired in August 1991. He was a member of Sikeston Eagles 3319, and American Legion Post 114. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Micheal Leible of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Lisa Leible of Charleston; his mother of Sikeston; two stepsons, David and Doug Friend of Sikeston; a stepdaughter, Detricia Boyd of Sikeston; a brother, Harold Leible of Tonganoxie, Kan., and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Don Slaten will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
