Joseph Leroy Musgrave, 66, of Portageville, Mo., died Thursday, March 8, 2007, at his home.
He was born Aug. 2, 2004, at Lilbourn, Mo., son of Clem and Daisy Taylor Musgrave. He and Shirley Mae Gooch were married Feb. 24, 1962, in Portageville.
Musgrave was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau, and served in the U.S. Navy.
He worked at Cross Oil Co., which he later bought and renamed Leroy Oil Co. He was a member of St. Eustachius Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Natelie Frazier of Cape Girardeau, Kimberly Estes of Jackson; nine sisters, Velina Doster of Antrep, Ohio, Eve Powell of Egypt Mills, Barbara Propst and Janie Fornkohl of Cape Girardeau, Pat Biri of Jackson, Sandra Froman of Zalma, Mo., Venita Noah of Shawneetown, Irma Graham of Portageville, Martha Mansfield of Foley, Ala.; five brothers, Harold Page of Lakeview, Ohio, Earnie Musgrave of House Springs, Mo., David and James Musgrave of Portageville, Stephen Musgrave of Gideon, Mo.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, a sister, and a brother.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville. The rosary will be recited at 7.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Eustachius Church, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be in Portageville Cemetery with full military honors.
