PERRYVILLE -- Joseph L. Cissell, 58, of Perryville, died Thursday, April 6, 1995, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Nov. 2, 1936, at Silver Lake, son of Claude J. and Pearl Gibbar Cissell Sr. He and Anna Marie McLain were married May 21, 1960.
Cissell was a lime kiln oiler. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at Silver Lake.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Jackie Lorenz of Perryville, Pam Yates of Weingarten; his mother, Pearl Doll of Perryville; a sister, Lorene Blessing of St. Louis; two brothers, Claude Jr. and Kenneth Cissell of Silver Lake; three stepsisters, Doris Graff and Dorothy Clausen of Perryville, Pat Lohman of High Ridge, and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, brother, and stepfather.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-9:30 a.m.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Rose of Lima Church, with the Rev. Charles Rice officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
