POPLAR BLUFF -- Joseph Francis Seib, 61, of Poplar Bluff, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 1995.
He was born July 18, 1934, in Cape Girardeau, son of Austin and Sylvia Seib. He and Jo Ann Edwards Stephens were married Nov. 18, 1976, in Clay County, Ark.
Seib was a 1956 graduate of St. Louis College of Pharmacy. He was chief pharmacist at Kneibert Clinic Pharmacy, where he had worked 33 years.
He was a member of Wappapello Bassmasters, and life member of Amvets Post 29. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Debbie Crawford of Poplar Bluff, Carol Vaughn of Mountain Home, Ark.; a son, Keith Seib of Poplar Bluff; his mother of Poplar Bluff; three sisters, Janet Thies, Mary Beis and Rose Scobey of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Christopher Seib of St. Louis, Richard Seib of Dallas, Texas, and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.
Friends may all at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff after 7 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ervin Helton officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery with military graveside rites.
