Jon Charles Lufcy, 80, of Scott City passed away Friday, May 12, 2017, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.
He was born July 3, 1936, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Norman and Farrel Lufcy.
Jon had been a salesman for Jim Wilson Co. for many years. He later owned and operated Sportsman Shop in Scott City. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and the National Rifle Association. He also worked with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. He attended Unity Baptist Church in Benton, Missouri.
Jon and Shirley Strong were united in marriage in Advance, Missouri, and she preceded him in death Aug. 26, 2013.
Survivors include a daughter, Jill Mia (Craig Stephen) Goodson of Scott City; a granddaughter, Kinsey Sienna Goodson of Scott City; and a sister, Darlene Spies.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
