CHARLESTON -- Funeral service for Johnnie B. Gilmore of Charleston will be held at 10 a.m. today at Dogwood Methodist Church. The Rev. Harold Norton will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
Gilmore, 97, died Sunday, Aug. 9, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Nov. 11, 1894, near Martin, Tenn., daughter of Henry Bruce and Nancy Barton Cardwell. She married Luke Eurie Gilmore Nov. 1, 1914. He died Oct. 3, 1960.
Survivors include two sons, Jamie Gilmore, Charleston Route 3, Gilbert Gilmore, Matthews Route 1; five grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and three sisters.
