Royal, 55, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1993, at her home.

She was born Aug. 18, 1938, in Tulot, Ark., daughter of William F. and Mary Viola Rose Gold. She and William Royal were married July 12, 1989. He died Jan. 15, 1993.

Survivors include a son, Carl Barnes of Glen Allen; two sisters, Doris Eldridge of Marble Hill, Joy Weston of Clubb, and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by a daughter.
