John White

John Lindel White, son of the late Lindel Edwin White and Marjorie Ellen (Roush) White was born Jan. 17, 1950, in Detroit and departed his life on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2024, at his home in Scott City at the age of 74 years.

He was a former employee of Millwright Carpenters Union No. 1102, member of the Supreme Council 32-degree Mason in Detroit and of the Sons of the American Legion Post No. 0144 in Sikeston.

Survivors include two daughters, Sonia Lynn (Joseph) Staniszewski of Fort Worth, Texas, and Kala Lane Fields of Excelsior Springs; two grandchildren, Kali Jo Fields and Tony Ray McGee III; and other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Cynthia Hall and Sonia Price.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
