John Webber
John Kenneth Webber, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at the Lutheran Home.
He was born May 30, 1917, in Belleville, W. Va., son of Alonzo and Dixie Wigal Webber. He and Evelyn Lewis Webber were married Aug. 19, 1945, in Cape Girardeau. She died Feb. 20,1999.
Webber served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a retired electrician, and a member of First Church of God, Local No. 1 IBEW, VFW Post 3838 and the Hump Pilots Association.
He is survived by a sister, Virginia Haithcock of Parkersburg, W. Va.
Webber was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a brother and a sister.
Visitation will be from noon until time of service Wednesday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Ramsey officiating.
Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
