FRUITLAND -- John W. Womack, 41, of Fruitland, died Tuesday, July 21, 1992, in Van Buren. He was born Sept. 22, 1950, in St. Louis, son of John Willard and Myrtle Reed Womack. FRUITLAND -- John W. Womack, 41, of Fruitland, died Tuesday, July 21, 1992, in Van Buren.

He was born Sept. 22, 1950, in St. Louis, son of John Willard and Myrtle Reed Womack. He and Joni Niswonger were married in Jackson.

Womack was a carpenter with BBL at Biehle. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Jeffrey Womack of the home; three daughters, Jessica Womack of the home, Angel and Sara Womack of Medford, Ore.; his mother of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Dan, Joe and Russ Womack of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Virginia Fuller and Kathy Billingham of Cape Girardeau, and Jean Lee of Van Buren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at McSpadden Funeral Home in Van Buren after 1 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial in Van Buren City Cemetery.
