PULASKI, Ill. -- John W. Crain, 73, of Pulaski died Saturday, Nov. 2, 1996, at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis. He was born Jan. 22, 1923, in Mounds, the son of John L. and Bertha Jackson Crain. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include his mother of Mounds; two daughters, Becky Jo Kleckner and Pietie McClellan, both of Grand Chain; one son, Warren Crain of Villa Ridge; one sister, Judy Campbell of Metropolis; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren...

PULASKI, Ill. -- John W. Crain, 73, of Pulaski died Saturday, Nov. 2, 1996, at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis.

He was born Jan. 22, 1923, in Mounds, the son of John L. and Bertha Jackson Crain.

He was a retired farmer.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Crain Funeral Home in Ullin.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jerry Day officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge.
