BENTON, Mo. -- John Seaman Shell, 67, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at his home in Benton.
He was born April 22, 1945, in St. Louis to Lester William and Angelyn Arminta Neal Shell.
Shell was a member of Shriners for several years. He was a superintendent for many years with Wright-Mats Construction Co.
Survivors include a son, Greg Shell of Adamsville, Ala.; a daughter, Tammy Nelson of Senatobia, Miss.; a brother, Adrian Shell of Marble Hill, Mo.; a sister, Donna Huff of Benton; a niece, Dorothy Mosebach of Benton; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons and a brother.
There is no service planned.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
