ANNA, Ill. -- John Orr McCommons, 85, of Anna, formerly of Marion, died Tuesday, April 11, 1995, at Marion Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 28, 1909, in Dongola, son of Jessie and Evelyn Johnson McCommons.
McCommons was a member of the Church of Christ in Marion.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel, and a brother.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with John Shelton officiating.
