ST. LOUIS -- John Patrick Maloney of St. Louis departed this earth in peace Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at the age of 39.
He was born Jan. 7, 1974, to Paul Edward Maloney Jr. and Nell Catherine Barnett-Maloney.
He will be greatly missed by his surviving family: father, Paul E. Maloney Jr. of Tiptonville, Tenn.; brother, Jason Maloney of Chaffee, Mo.; and two sisters, Crystal Miller of Big Rock, Tenn., and Cara Wortmann of Birmingham, Ala.; and six nephews and four nieces.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nell Catherine Barnett-Maloney; and his grandparents, John and Helen Barnett and Paul and Myrtle Maloney.
John was a brave and loving man with a heart of gold. He was a very proud uncle and a great friend. His favorite hobbies were fishing, wrestling and horses; he was a true cowboy at heart.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel, with visitation one hour prior.
John P. Maloney will be laid to rest at a later date at Stewart County Memorial Gardens in Dover, Tenn.
