John W. Kosharek, 90, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Scott City, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, in Houston.
He was born June 17, 1914, in Steuben, Wis., son of Charles and Mary Kosharek. He and Beatrice Marie Hamilton were married Dec. 31, 1937, in Waukon, Iowa. They shared 61 years together.
John worked 30 years at Hughes Aircraft Co. in Culver City, Calif., retiring in 1976.
He is survived by a son, Jack Kosharek of Scott City; a daughter, Judith Odell of Houston; five grandchildren, Kevin and Keith Kosharek of Bloomington, Ill., John and Steven Schwartz of Houston, Karen Peterson of Parker, Colo.; four great-granddaughters, Abigail and Sabrina Kosharek, Kira Peterson, and Avery Schwartz.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a brother and a sister.
The funeral and burial was Nov. 10 in Galesville, Wis.
Zwickey Funeral Homes Galesville Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
