JOHN J. LAWRENCE

BELL CITY -- Funeral service for John Junior Lawrence of Gooding, Idaho, will be held at 1 p.m. today at the United Methodist Church in Gooding. The Rev. Don Mason will officiate, with burial in Gooding.

Lawrence, 69, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 1994, in a hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho, following a brief illness.

He was born March 29, 1924, at Bell City, son of John and Gladys McDaniel Lawrence. He and Velma Simmons were married March 31, 1945, at Bloomfield.

Lawrence was a retired truck driver.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Janet Hartman of Nampa, Idaho, Sharon Braga, Kathy Lehr and Linda Norris of Gooding; a sister, Dorothy Friedrich of Burley, Idaho; three brothers, Charles Lawrence of Boise, Idaho, Ivan Lawrence of Bloomfield, James Lawrence of Advance; nine grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
