JOHN HENDERSON

PERRYVILLE -- John F. Henderson, 84, of Perryville died Monday, June 2, 1997, at his home.

He was born Oct. 18, 1912, at Desloge, son of Gilbert and Cecelia Gibbar Henderson. He and Helen Muench were married Aug. 29, 1934.

Henderson retired after 36 years at International Shoe Co., and also worked 10 years for the city of Perryville. He was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Carol Brown of Searcy, Ark., Georgia Blechle and Phyllis Riney of Perryville; two sons, John Henderson of Florida, Neil Henderson of Perryville; two sisters, Edna Horner of Laurinburg, N.C., Ruth Berkbuegler of Uniontown; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30 a.m. until service time.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
