PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- John E. Day, 77, of Perryville died Monday, Aug. 20, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was born Jan. 27, 1924, in Crystal City, Mo., son of Leroy and Edna Moran Day. He and Bonnie I. Peterson were married Oct.13, 1945. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Diana P. Rodriguez and Angelica I. Allen, both of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; a sister, Della Mae Burgan of Crystal City; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- John E. Day, 77, of Perryville died Monday, Aug. 20, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 27, 1924, in Crystal City, Mo., son of Leroy and Edna Moran Day.

He and Bonnie I. Peterson were married Oct.13, 1945.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Diana P. Rodriguez and Angelica I. Allen, both of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; a sister, Della Mae Burgan of Crystal City; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

There will be no visitation or service. Burial will be in Festus Methodist Cemetery in Festus, Mo.

Robert D. Brown Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Mo., is handling arrangements.
