SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Lloyd John Corvick Jr., 52, of Scott City died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 9, 1948, in Cape Girardeau, son of Lloyd John and Helen Webb Corvick. He and Michele Reddick Drury were married July 21, 1988, at Benton, Mo.
Corvick was employed by Girardeau Stevedores and Contractors Inc.
He attended Father's Arms Fellowship Church. He was a member of VFW Post 6407, Company A 1140th Engineer Battalion Missouri National Guard, SEMO Master Gardeners, and Ramsey's Rangers Black Powder Club.
Corvick served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Amy Corvick of Jackson, Mo., Stephanie Davis of Little Rock, Ark.; two stepsons, Brandon and Matthew Drury of the home; his parents of Scott City; two sisters, Marlene Gregory of Benton, Mo., Arlene Hartle of Virginia Beach, Va.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ken Strong officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
