John Brehmer
DEXTER, Mo. -- John William Brehmer, 63, of Dexter died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, at his home.
He was born June 27, 1945, in Alva, Okla., son of Elmer W. and Lillie Looney Brehmer. He and Marilyn Heitfeld were married Sept. 3, 1966, in Fairmont, Okla.
Brehmer formerly owned Brehmer Fertilizer. He was a member of and head elder at Faith Lutheran Church. He was a former member of Citizens Bank board of directors and was active in 4-H and Stoddard County Extension Council many years.
Survivors include his wife; a son, J.T. Brehmer of Dexter; a daughter, Julie Brehmer of Springfield, Mo.; a brother, Jerry Brehmer of Dexter; a sister, Beth Bliese of Jackson; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Adam Mueller officiating. Burial will be in Chalk Bluff Cemetery.
