JACKSON - John Martin Bollheimer, 80, of Jackson, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 1994 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He has been in poor health the past two years.
He was born Aug. 11, 1913 at Sulfur Springs, Mo. In 1978 he retired from the Neelyville School District, where he had been a building trades teacher. Prior to working for the school system, he was well-known as a carpenter and electrician in the Butler County area.
He was a former member of the Harviell Methodist Church and the Missouri State Teachers Association, and was a member of the New McKendree Methodist Church in Jackson.
On July 28, 1941 he married Lois Paul at Charleston, and she survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Carol Rohlfs of Jackson, and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 7 p.m. today at the Cotrell Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Otto Steinhaus officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
