PERRYVILLE -- John Francis Blanchard, 67, of Perryville, died Wednesday, July 31, 1996, at Perry Oaks Health Care Center. He was born Nov. 30, 1928, in Castleton, Vt., son of John F. and Alice D. Ames Blanchard. Blanchard had been a truck driver for Wagner. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II...

PERRYVILLE -- John Francis Blanchard, 67, of Perryville, died Wednesday, July 31, 1996, at Perry Oaks Health Care Center.

He was born Nov. 30, 1928, in Castleton, Vt., son of John F. and Alice D. Ames Blanchard.

Blanchard had been a truck driver for Wagner. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include a son, John Blanchard of Ft. Dodge, Iowa; a brother, Charles Blanchard of Castleton; a sister, Geraldine Gaston of Trenton, Fla., and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

A graveside service will be held later.

Young and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
