DONGOLA, Ill. -- JoEtta L. Harvel, 62, Dongola Route 2, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Jan. 20, 1929, at Tamms, daughter of Paul and Myrtle Smith Jordan. She married Loyd Harvel May 4, 1947.

Harvel was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, and past matron of Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Debbie Garrett of Jonesboro, and two grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at Norris and Son Funeral Chapel in Jonesboro. Pastor Robert Schrack will officiate, with burial in St. John's Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until time of service.
