SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Funeral service for Joe Stolba of Sedgewickville was held Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rev. J. Michael Davis officiated, with burial in Crossroads Methodist Cemetery.

Stolba, 81, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 1994, at Aspen Forest Care Center in Perryville.

He was born May 18, 1913, in Willow Springs, son of Louis and Anna Stolba. He married Helen Conner, who died Jan. 21, 1986.

Stolba retired as a mechanic at Frohna Machine Shop.

Survivors include a brother, Rudolph Stolba of Willow Springs, and a sister, Emile Chaklos of Belleville, Ill.
