THEBES, Ill. -- Joe Daniel Schaffer III was stillborn Tuesday, April 4, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Survivors include his parents, Joe Daniel and Lori Ann Schaffer Jr. of Thebes; two brothers, Jesse and Brandt Schaffer of Thebes; paternal grandmother, Donna Schaffer of Perkins, Mo.; and maternal grandparents, Michael and Grace Cole of Thebes...

THEBES, Ill. -- Joe Daniel Schaffer III was stillborn Tuesday, April 4, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his parents, Joe Daniel and Lori Ann Schaffer Jr. of Thebes; two brothers, Jesse and Brandt Schaffer of Thebes; paternal grandmother, Donna Schaffer of Perkins, Mo.; and maternal grandparents, Michael and Grace Cole of Thebes.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Cemetery, with Jim Matthews officiating.

Friends may call at the cemetery from 12:30 p.m. until service time.

Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
