GRAY RIDGE -- Funeral service for Joe Hogan of Gray Ridge will be held at 1 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse. The Rev. Gene Lancaster will officiate, with burial in Essex Cemetery at Essex. Hogan, 81, died Wednesday, July 26, 1995, at Notre Dame Hills Health Center in Belleville, Ill.

Hogan was a retired farmer, and had lived in Gray Ridge 50 years.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Jo Ann Davis of Sikeston, Verline Greer of Cape Girardeau, Mary Dalton of Athens, Tenn.; three sisters, Gladys Mays of Mt. Vernon, Ill., Della Spencer and Delia Blackwell of Pocahontas, Ark.; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons.
